Bio

Born in the rural town of Dubbo, BELLE (Isabella Kerr) discovered music out of necessity, busking for pocket money across the Central West of New South Wales. After completing her schooling in Orange, the singer/songwriter moved to the beaches of Maroubra in which is now her home and creative hub.

Blending her love of authentic songwriting with raw passion, inspired by the likes of Tash Sultana, Angie McMahon and Meg Mac, BELLE is forging a unique and organic sound. The relatability and nostalgia of her lyrics evokes familiarity and comfort, exemplified through her recent releases ‘cloud 9’ and ‘Satisfied’, which was released on 15 July.

‘Satisfied’ is the third crafted release by BELLE that captures the same funky soul groove that is evident in her previous original tracks; with a driving rhythm, warm tones and catchy vocal lines. The track is about finding yourself on the end of a one-sided relationship and the hopelessness that comes from being in a position unable to stand up for yourself and having to ask ‘are you satisfied yet’?

BELLE’s sound is genuine and honest – just like her. The emotion and buzz she gets from performing and sharing her music is unmistakable and infectious; you need to experience it.

Nice, Belle! This has a cruising, swinging charm to it and there's a pinch of sass to keep you on the hook too!

That sax has the confidence of a wolf walking down the main street of a one dog town. Liking your similarly bold vocal too.
