Bio

BELLIGERENT INTENT ARE.... CRAIG 666 OMEN - BASS/VOX MATT WILCOCK - GUITARS MATT BELLIGERENT - DRUMS Belligerent Intent is a 4 piece black/death metal band from Melbourne, Australia. Blasphemous lyrics combined with non-stop brutality and speed, Belligerent Intent is an all out war against the laws of the cross. First spawned by Craig and Darren Rodeghiero, the Belligerent beast slowly gestated until Craig saw an opportunity in 2007 when he summoned the skills of Matt and Mark who he met playing in Flesh Embraced. They entered the studio and recorded their first 2 track promo which was released in Jan 2009, and went on to finally release their EP entitled "Descending to Abaddon" in 2010. In early 2011, Mark and Belligerent Intent parted ways and Luke Murnane (also ex-Flesh Embraced) signed on to fill the guitar slot. In the first 8 weeks the band wrote and recorded the 2-track “Seven are They” promo. The Group was then expanded with the addition of Mike Possessed (Urgrund) for a more brutal twin-guitar attack. Parting ways with Luke in mid 2012, Belligerent Intent recruited guitarist Serberuz Hammerfrost (Divine Codex, Draconis Infernum) to further compliment the direction of the band. Belligerent Intent has rapidly moved forward, conquering & destroying many stages local and abroad; including recent shows with Cannibal Corpse and Nunslaughter, not to mention international festivals such as God Beheading (Thailand) and Rock in Solo (Indonesia) & In 2013 Belligerent Intent will be in Brazil playing Avalanche Metal Festival. Up until now these maniacs have proved they are deadly serious and dedicated to this music and its message, and will continue to keep unleashing Unholy, Evil, and Chaotic tunes for you to thrash your head to!
