Bio

New single 'Geordie' arrives as Ben Catley embarks on a large New Zealand tour, starting at a small festival with Xavier Rudd. Performed live over 350 times, and being the most difficult piece he's recorded in studio, 'Geordie' is a fond hat tip to northern England, where he grew up, and is a hearty, feel-good embrace of his West Australian and touring life. Using a bunch of fret tapping and over-the-neck guitar playing, the track radiates energy and happy-go-lucky vibes.

Taking his music all around Australia, UK, NZ and Singapore over the last year, Ben has recently appeared on international festival lineups among the likes of Gorillaz, Ben Harper, London Grammar, King Gizz and more.

Ben's kicked up a full on dust storm with this bullpen rocker. He's really grabbed the riffs by the horn, to extend the metaphor.
