Founded in the winter of 2020, the members of Benjii, all involved in prior projects within the Brisbane music scene, have been busy curating a series of first singles, with a focus on dynamics, texture, and lyrical content that appeals to the wider twenty-something community. After releasing a demo compilation on Bandcamp and other streaming services in Novemeber of last year, the band intends to make the most of 2021 with new shows, more track releases and a music video release for their first single, "New Song", released on the 1st of January, 2021.
