Bernardine’s sound is a home-grown culmination of live and electronic instruments, handpicked and layered to immerse the listener in twilight euphoria. Bernardine’s roots in classical music have been intertwined with electronic nuance, allowing her to create the intriguing indie pop anthems that illuminate the airwaves today. The evolving inner world of the singer songwriter is conveyed blissfully through her dreamlike, minimalist and melodious style. Born and raised in Perth, Australia, Bernardine took up piano and guitar and began busking and performing. She studied classical music at the Conservatorium of WA and played in various indie bands before emerging as a solo artist and releasing her debut album in 2015. In 2018 Bernardine resided in the US where she experimented as a producer evolving her aesthetic further.
