Beth Lucas is an independent acoustic artist from Brisbane, Australia and has been playing regularly on the local and national alternative music circuit since 2008.
Her stripped back blend of emo/pop punk, honest lyrics and DIY work ethic has earned Beth a loyal fan base and seen her share the stage with some of America's biggest acts, including Ed Kowalczyk (LĪVE), Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hawthorne Heights, Ben Jorgensen (Armor for Sleep), Jonah Matranga (Far/onelinedrawing), State Champs and A Loss For Words.
Beth has also supported Australia's Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon), Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Clint Boge (The Butterfly Effect), Little Brother (John Floreani from Trophy Eyes), Kisschasy, Born Lion and Antiskeptic.
In 2016, Beth toured interstate with Jon Toogod (Shihad), opened both of the final ever Funeral For a Friend shows in her home town of Brisbane, as well as being invited to perform at Record Store Day at 24Hundred/UNFD in Melbourne. Mid-year, Beth opened a second time for Hawthorne Heights and also participated in a promotional showcase and writing trip to Los Angeles.
Beth spent most of 2017 focusing on recording her long awaited fourth EP with Troy Brady (ex-The Amity Affliction) and closed the year supporting viral slam poet Neil Hilborn on his debut Australian Tour.
2018 will see Beth perform alongside pop punk royalty, Say Anything, as well as a run of local shows in support of the upcoming EP, Even If It Kills Me, which is due out June 15th.
Further to playing locally and interstate, Beth has also played shows in West Hollywood, Orange County, New York, and New Jersey.
