Bio

Big Orange is an alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia. The brainchild of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Davis. It has subsequently evolved into a 4-piece band onstage, with Davis’ vocals, piano and guitar work complemented by life-long friends Tom Garvey on bass, Emma Adams on synths and percussion, and Jamie Gallacher on drums, brother Chris Davis also makes the occasional appearance on guitar and backing vocals. Big Orange deliver with passion and commitment, mixing moments of grace, despair and sensuality with hooks that ear-worm into your subconscious, and bury deep within your soul.

“Big Orange command attention in the purest possible way - with snappy hooks and sharply-written tunes. They play with a no-frills commitment and confidence that serves to intensify the emotional impact of their material.” ~ Sam Farringdon, Junction Records.

“Big Orange are more than a band, they're a gang” ~ Luke Dux, The Floors.

I'm hearing the Rubens, Meg Mac, Cloud Control and more in here. A hotpot of references that you've simmered into your own concoction. Real nice.

your strained vocals are the perfect combo with the keys, they balance each other out so well.
