Bio

Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter, Billy Fox, draws on his impressively technical flair for beautiful alt-pop, soul and R&B-influenced electronic production. His electro-soul music and beautiful suite of visuals forms an all-consuming sensory experience, which is to be heightened in 2021, with his first solo release in two years, 'Hurry Up and Crush Me', richly received across radio and DSP’s worldwide. His second single, ‘Neighbourhood’, releases in April embedded within Billy’s signature striking visuals.

The artist’s explosive entry onto the scene with 2016’s ‘East Coast’, the equally strong follow up, ‘Avalanche’ & 2017’s genre-bending, soul-infused single, ‘Taste’, cemented the visionary songwriter on the Australian and global music scene.

His “LUNG” EP campaign achieved the biggest international and national exposure so far. Three accomplished singles, ‘Echo’, ‘Be Like This For A While’ and ‘Let’s Be Honest’, all gained enormous streaming traction with countless editorial playlist across DSP's.

Experimenting with organic instrumentation, spacious production and intricately textured future-soul elements, it struck a chord with radio, tastemaker blogs around the world, Hype Machine top ten charts, setting him up for features on releases from Mookhi, Kid Mac, Dekleyn, Houis (NYC) and impressive co-writing credits, which include Jerome Blazé, Hein Cooper, Pat Carroll, Kid Fiction, Jannah Beth, Reggie Banks and more.

Billy Fox has toured with Glass Animals, The Aston Shuffle, THUMPERS, Boo Seeka, Tash Sultana, Harts, Sahara Beck and many more. He has a huge 2021 lined up to show the world.

Billy's vocal on this rightly getting some comparisons to Justin Vernon on this one. Gorgeous vocal, textured electronic production. It's a beaut.

wrapping what would be a typically pop-leaning chorus in this glistening, delicate, floaty electronic production is a direct way to my heart and therefore I have no choice but to reach for the repeat button.
