Bleeding Knees Club Q&A
Tell us about your music – how did you develop your sound? It developed in our garage. We started jamming in March this year and it's kinda just gone from there. We just like short, easy songs. They're way more fun to play live and people don't have to think about it as much. Leaves more room in their brains to think about partying...
What should a punter expect at your show?
A guitar and a drum and two kids and heaps of knee-slides, some bubble machines and tribute to Casey Donovan.
Tell us about the Gold Coast scene.
It's starting to get alot better. There's a bunch of good bands emerging from the shadows now which is cool. No real 'scene' as such because most of the bands are into different styles, but everyone is real supportive and goes to each others shows.
What’s coming up in the future?
Our EP comes out of the closet on Friday 22nd October which is rad. We also go on tour around the country with the Yacht Club guys starting this week which we think is going to be loose. Other than that, we've got a few more shows and festival support slots and then its summer!
Australian music is?

Sweet, you guys remind me of The Gories from the Gold Coast or something, great monkey punk in the sun.

Love the swagger of this song, and that rough blues sound. Most of all, I love how the second of your Unearthed songs - while recorded similarly - sounds so different from the first. Where did you guys come from? And, more please.
