Blissiplin is kind of a one man band, with Kerry Furlong writing the songs, producing, doing the vocals, drums, synth lead, synth bass, and loud-as-hell guitars himself. But he gets lots of help from Thomas Marland for guitar and production. Tom is stoked he gets to shred his classic Gibson Les Paul like Slash on Blissiplin’s groovy techno alt-rock tracks. He’s played lead guitar with Peking Duk on tour, but he’s mostly known as a brilliant Ableton producer working with the Duk, Broods, Safia, and his own techno moody-house group The Nights. Furlong hopes to get Marland’s insane DNA onto as many Blissiplin songs as possible. Kerry finally took a kickass TAFE course and got his Ableton chops going, so it will be ticking along much faster now. In 2020, he spent Feb, March & April learning to mix, spending nearly 400 hours mixing his new single. Finally, after 119 mixes, mix #120 of his new song “Jessica Jones” will come out on 26 June 2020. Hopefully another new song every month or ...
