Bio
Blood Bank, Formed in early 2018, is a four-piece Indie-Post punk outfit from Brisbane Australia. Often compared to the likes of The Cure, Gang of Youths and Joy Division, the band’s driving rhythms and revering choruses combined with emotive, passionate vocals of the Robert Smith-esque vocalist Sam Pennisi, the band have carved out a relentless path for themselves in Brisbane’s bustling music scene. The band’s music encapsulates new-wave punk energy through their melodic synths and intricate drumming, enhanced by lyrics that detail Sam’s experience and struggles with adolescence in the modern digital age.
Career highlights include a SOLD OUT show at Greaser Bar, Packing over 300 people to The Valley Drive in, music video premiere on TheMusic.com.au, a full page spread in the Queensland Times, regular radio play on RebelFM and 4ZZZ as well as working with Graham Ashton’s Footstomp Music.

Takes me back a few years to that revival of big sounding post-punk and indie blend. This one's got energy to spare with the heightened guitars and yearning vocal.

That chorus kicked in just in the nick of time, I was close to moving from "sad" to "morose". Reckon I'm gonna need to catch this one live
