Bio

Hi!

I'm an independent South-East Asian immigrant raised artist known as “The Blossom”

Raised between New York and Sydney Australia, now based in LA

I self produce/record/write and sing.

I explore a lot of my struggles with my anxiety, depression, growing pains, insecurities and narrative as a young POC woman - through my music and writing.

My signature sound is dreamy yet dark, playful yet bittersweet and
unexpectedly pushes the boundaries of what is perceivably “pop”.

Obsessed with the awareness and open honesty in the lyrics. The angsty, bedroom pop, 90's grunge/guitar feel adds to the authenticity and it's hard not to love.

okay so, the protagonist of the 90s teen rom-com has just been ditched at the dance and has come back to her bedroom, whipped out her acoustic guitar and poured this song out.

THE BLOSSOM just wrote a classic grunge song but built it with modern pop tools. This is sick.
