Bio

Blue Velvet are a four piece Indie Punk band based in Sydney.

Since forming in 2016, the band has quickly developed a passionate following across Australia playing with the likes of Moose Blood (UK), Trophy Eyes, Columbus.

In early 2017, the band released their debut EP ‘Collide’ which laid the groundwork of their unique sound.

By combining the loud and fast instrumentation of Punk and emotionally honest lyricism, the band has set out to make a new sound for Australian Alternative music.

It's that synth line over the top of everything that makes this feel so unique. I'd wager this badboy would go off like a bottlerocket live.

I keep going back to this new one from you boys. It's like Luca Brasi meets Smith Street, meets driving guitars, powerful energy and whole lot of catchy songwriting! Digging this x
