Bio

BLUSSH, Brisbane’s unholy trinity plastering a 90’s grunge, punk ferocity with the tongue & cheek that’ll pull you in and spit you out. The trio's shared love of musical influences, HOLE, L7, Babes In Toyland & The Distillers set them to revive this lost sound. BLUSSH’s reputation as a live band is not for the faint of heart; raw, reckless and wildly unhinged. Their DIY ethos launched them into a relentless crusade of live gigs, two national tours, landing them as top #20 in 4ZZZ 2020 countdown. Playing alongside comrades Dicklord, Press Club, Beddy Rays, The Deadlove, The Meanies and WAAX, and landing festival slots at Mountain Goat Valley Crawl, Gr!fest, Sonic Masala & Fireball Festival, BLUSSH firmly planted both feet and middle fingers on the scene. Navigating a challenging 2020, the band failed to slow down, with two single releases “Better Than This” & "Incoming", propelling them to covid-safe stages and landing commercial and local radio rotations.

Their latest single “Incoming” is set to launch the band on a QLD Tour with BFF’S WHALEHOUSE and local friends. BLUSSH celebrates the “Incoming” single release on November 20th, alongside an animated video clip and a QLD tour as a collective sign off and loving kiss of death to 2020.

The only way to describe this is raw, but in the best way possible. Raw vocals. Raw lyrics. Raw production. Everything is complimented so well. Love it.

If I was Gordon Ramsay I'd angrily say this is *Naughty Word That Begins With F*ing Raw and mean it in the most complimentary way possible.

BLUSSH mixing a booster shot of self belief with the potent combination of blood and sweat.
