Bio
Boatfriends are an ex-Newcastle, now predominantly Melbourne based outfit. Founding members Clinton Edwards and Shanna Watson have already shared the stage with Neon Indian, Chet Faker, An Horse and Collarbones and recently added drummer Sam Peterson to their ranks. 'Hands Up To The Light' and closing track "Sport Billy" have been lauded by music blogs 'the Ripe', 'Indie Shuffle' and 'Who The Hell' and given high praise by JJJ. A clear indication this dream-wave trio is definitely a band to watch. http://www.theripe.tv/boatfriends-sport-billy/ http://whothehell.net/archives/21735?utm_source=feedly http://www.indieshuffle.com/boatfriends-hands-light/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTyrDGg-fCk

Well this is just beautiful, you guys. Loaded with dreamy textures, authentically vintage production and some hazy vocals that hang in the air all gorgeous-like. Basically, Sofia Coppola needs this for her next movie.

I agree with my work colleagues, this is a ripper song. Pretty, interesting production and real warmth. This is ace.

It's like sliding into a warm pillow of fragmented vocals and crunchy syths. Great unique production without taking away from the organic beauty of the vocals. Where did this come from!?
