Visionary Electro Pop (pronounced 'Books')

Formed in early 2018, Perth based singer songwriter, producer Jarred Wall is a proud Ngoongar man of the Wardandi Bibbulmun tribe of South West W.A. A beat creator delivering unheard melodies, harmonies, unique instrumentation and with a live show to complement. Boox Kid's Debut release 'Hold my hand' is available on triplejunearthed, Spotify and Apple music. The track was placed on Spotify's Deadly Beats Editorial playlist and has amassed 8000 streams since its release, receiving airplay on 4ZZZ, FBi Radio, Goolari Media and RTRFM. The song depicts Wall's work with youth and the struggles that some young people face, coming from impoverished backgrounds with little support.

Boox Kid's second release 'It's Just a Dream, Wake Up' hit streaming platforms on March 24th 2019. Featuring samples of Wall's daughters detailing their dreams, from ponies to unicorns and everything that 4 and 6 year can imagine, the track weaves through unique instrumentation, taking the listener on a journey. Now receiving regular airplay on 4ZZZ, RTRFM and FBi Radio, the track has been placed on Spotify's editorial playlist 'Deadly Beats' and has become one of the most played tracks of 2019 on RTRFM.
Recent performances include NAIDOC Week 2018, Bunuru Festival, City of Fremantle Hidden Treasures Festival, Perth NAIDOC awards 2019, RTRFM Winter Music Festival, Ashfield Naidoc Family day. Upcoming shows include WAMfest, Dunsborough Songfest 2019 and more to be announced.
