Bio

Borderline is a 3-piece hard rock band from New South Wales, Australia. Formed in late 2005, the band consists of Nathan Harpley on Vox/Guitar, Trent Harpley on Drums & Ben 'Johno' Johnston on Bass. The band has played numerous festivals and events all over Australia in the quest for world domination! Their main influences include Alter Bridge, Nickelback, Daughtry, Shinedown, Metallica, and Stone Sour among others... The bands current discography includes the 'Borderline EP' released in July, 2008, and their 2010 independently released debut album 'Take On The World', which featured 3 singles including 'Leave You Tonight', a soulful ballad about missing that someone special, 'Five Years Gone', an up-beat sing-a-long track about reminiscing on days gone by, and 'I'll Still Run', a fast-paced rock song about constantly envisioning someone whom you've never met, but are constantly striving to find for an answer for your visions. All 3 songs have garnered radio play in their hometown of Griffith and on radio stations in surrounding towns. The band also ventured out on the 'Take On The World' Tour in support of the album and have played a number of gigs across NSW and Vic, Australia. Borderline aims to use their songs and story-telling as a way to provide people with a musical world to make them feel good. From providing an escape from the real world, to brightening the darkest of days, the guys in Borderline love nothing more than to make people feel better and have a good time! Currently the band has their debut album 'Take On The World' available on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, ReverbNation, Amazon and all other online stores.
