About
Borneo have been causing a ruckus on the live circuit in Sydney, quickly recruiting an army of loyal punters at each gig thanks to their high impact, charismatic performances and quirky aesthetic. The quintet have crafted a unique blend of funky-punk, influenced by the likes of Devo, The Oils, David Byrne, and The John Steel Singers. With a hectic 2017 under their belts, including the release of debut EP ‘Alert!’ and new single ‘Only One’, plus an almost constant stream of shows, Borneo are showing no signs of easing off this year. The quirky quintet are already gearing up for the release of another collection of charming, tongue-in-cheek, yet meaningful songs with their sophomore EP ‘Rebel Mindtricks’, out 23rd February, 2018. After a well deserved kip in the latter half of 2018, Borneo will be back in action in 2019... Just wait & see.
