Brash and Sassy are Western Australia’s resident grand-daughters of Italo-pop-disco who are gracing the nation with their pure, unadulterated, electro-pop debut EP, ‘NOW’ in December. ‘NOW’ is a collection of songs about heartbreak, pale young men with strawberry pouts, passion for Men In Leather and raises important questions about people’s intentions on the dance floor - do they think they’re getting fit? ‘NOW’ was recorded by Matt Giovannangelo at Underground Productions, Perth and co-produced by Jaymes Voltaire of the Voltaire Twins. The EP is available through Green distribution. Performing since 2006, Brash and Sassy consists of lead singers Ava Loverock and Gennaia Febbraio, Guy Kristos on keys, Hønk Milmoe on guitar and John Grant on drums. The five-piece have performed with the likes of Bertie Blackman, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Chromeo, Horse Meat Disco DJs, The Freemasons and Miami Horror and have played at music festivals Good Vibrations Parklife, Summadayze, One Movement ...
