Bio

Born out of the ashes of a number of prominent Melbourne punk bands, Break The Gallows is a 5 piece punk rock outfit with a flair for high-tech dueling guitar work and rapid-fire tempos. With a wide range of influences across members (everything from 60s garage to mind bending prog metal), BTG presents a complex, divergent and intriguing sound while maintaining the solid, fast-paced rhythms that define much of the punk genre. In keeping with the long-standing traditions of the punk movement, BTG aims to deliver music that is politically and socially aware, thought provoking and LOUD. BTGs sound has been likened to that of contemporary European punk, but with the hard grit that is embedded in a lot of Australian rock. Ultimately, BTG aims to inspire aggressive fist pumping and the raucous, skull cracking rumblings of dissent.

Man this is some ballsy punk rock. Getting A Wilhelm Scream style vibes from some of the verse riffage with a bit of Propaghandi thrown in. If that isn't a compliment in itself then I dunno. Wicked track.
