About
Bridget Allan is an indie/jazz-influenced singer-songwriter from the Mornington Peninsula. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne, specialising in Jazz and Improvisation. Bridget is a regular in the local gig scene around Melbourne supporting the likes of Teenage Dads, Slowly Slowly, and The Hard Aches and also doing events for causes, such as the main stage at Sea Shepherd's Ocean Defence Tour, Paddle Out for Westernport, and gigs with Oxfam. She is a big advocate for the environment and fighting climate change, volunteering for the Greens Party Australia and Phillip Island Penguin Parade and often doing beach clean-ups at local beaches. Bridget has recently worked with American mixer Calvin Lauber (known for his work with Julien Baker) for her music. Bridget’s fifth album ‘Good Grief!’ is available everywhere on February 10th!
