Brittany Leo is an intense vocalist who is inspired by the likes of 'The Pretty Reckless' on the one hand and 'Kelly Clarkson' on the other. Her performance style is powerful and evocative, part dangerous, part vulnerable. Her songs are about empowerment and enlightenment. Brittany recently completed her debut EP. It was written with singer/songwriter Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis of MSquared Productions in Melbourne before being sent to New York to be mastered by the incredible Tom Coyne. One of Brittany's original songs 'Saving Myself' is currently being promoted to world wide radio through US record label; Musik and Film. Although Brittany is only 17 years of age she has already performed at numerous events around Melbourne and at great venues such as BMW Edge, The Palladium at Crown Casino, The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, The Immigration Museum, The Royal Exhibition Building, Federation Square, Ormond Hall and Bennett's Lane. Brittany is also an actor, dancer - hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and lyrical and a musician - she plays the guitar and piano. Brittany has recently been awarded a Holt Australia Day Award and was mentioned in Federal Parliament as recognition for the contribution she has made to her community. Brittany supports many charity organisations such as the Cancer Council and Cystic Fibrosis Victoria. Brittany was also awarded a Creative Young Stars Grant in August 2013 by the Federal Government. Brittany is now concentrating on performing and continuing her journey of recording, writing and collaborating.
