2018 was a big year for Buried King. It saw him play at some of Sydney’s biggest clubs; The Ivy, Taylors, Clique Sydney, Home The Venue as well as make his festival debut at Electric Gardens 2018 & Glitterbox Sydney alongside Todd Terry, Dr Packer and The Shapeshifters. This past year alone he’s been privileged to support the likes of Riva Starr, Miguel Campbell, Fatboy Slim and Eli Escobar.
His first original release of 2018, ‘Hot Mess’ debuted in the ARIA Club Charts at #6, and his follow up single, 'Give It Up' also made waves this time reaching the number #5 spot. His productions have gained him support from Doorly, Roger Sanchez, Demarkus Lewis, Treasure Fingers, Huxley, Joe Smooth, Colour Castle, Don Diablo, Gene Farris, Marshall Jefferson, The Aston Shuffle, Go Freek and many more.
2019 is set to be an even bigger year for Buried King as he's already released his first original for the year, ‘That’s Right’ as well as co-founding Disco Fiasco Records, alongside Colour Castle. Disco Fiasco is aimed at highlighting their favourite nu-disco, indie dance, soul, funk, disco, classic & soulful house from both local and international artists.
If there’s a place in Sydney where people are soaking up saucy nu-disco vibes, Buried King is likely to be the one behind the controls.
