Burning Hedges, formed in 1995 in Melbourne, Australia, are a four-piece rock band whose songs range from folk routed acoustic through melodic grunge to electronica and heavier groove based hard rock. They take elements from various styles, such as electronica, funk and jazz, and merge them into a unique sound rooted in '90s-style stoner/grunge rock. Songwriters, Chris Andrews (vocals and lyrics) and Patrick O'Donnell (guitars and music), have been collaberating with each other for over 11 years and during that time they have developed strong melodic chemistry, and with contributions from Girth have evolved a unique headstrong songwriting style. 2005 saw the circle complete again with return of original drummer Girth who left the band in 1997 at the same time as original bassist Vee and the joining of Greg White to complete the 21st century line-up.
