Some things plague peoples minds to no ends. Questions, pondering the universe, making us feel so insignificant and unimportant that we wonder why we're even here. I'd be lying if I said I'd never asked myself one of these questions... perhaps the most important question of them all: How would a hybrid of rock and rap sound? I admit it has kept me awake at night, as it may have for many of you, but no more sleepless nights shall be had as the answer is here! Calculus draws influence from bands such as Metallica, Foo Fighters, Poison, Iron Maiden and more, as well as artists such as the Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n Eso, Draft, and Eminem. Calculus' heavier inspirations are quite evident in the tracks, despiter them being labelled as 'hip hop', and it's hard to deny his passion for story-telling in the form of his lyrics.
