About
Meshing elements of punk rock, metal and pop, (tech pop) CASH NO! tear out a furious mix of fast-paced melodic punk and heavy-hitting rock anthems. After watching too many Australian movies and consuming copious amounts of beer, the boys decided on the name CASH NO! as an homage to the Aussie flick Chopper (2000). Contrary to popular belief, the name was not chosen as a reference to any of the following: No Cash, Cash Cash, Johnny Cash, Pat Cash, Tango & Cash, Madonna (who is cashed up) or Cash Converters. Debut EP 'SOMETHING FOR NOW' is the end result of - and a testament to - the band's efforts in the studio and on the live circuit over the past couple of years. The release was supported by a massive Australian east coast tour spanning 2 weeks and hitting 5 cities. CASH NO! have had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of Australia's best acts from a wide range of musical genres including Behind Crimson Eyes, Bugdust, Jerrico, Mary Jane Kelly, Shinto Katana, Friends With ...
