Castles, the latest track from Perth dance-rock outfit, Casino Sunrise, was released early 2014. Lock these four Perth musicians in a studio (which is difficult due to the fact drummer and WAMI award winning engineer Adam Round is off touring the world with bands Pond, Drapht & The Growl) and you can guarantee a wild time, but the end result is always a polished and catchy banger. The latest single Castles is no exception to this rule. The song captures Justin Campbell’s go-to Juno synth sound, Anthony Jackson’s pulsing bass lines, Justin Story’s “Nile Rodgers” inspired guitar riff, disco beats and a massive drum break down from Adam Round. The chorus melody is so infectious it will stick with you for days.
