Bio

After a three-year hiatus, Casper Zazz have returned with a bright and colourful new single Flashing Lights, premiered through Life Without Andy. The Melbourne trio weren't sitting around during their vacation, they got busy, producing three tracks alongside Tigerilla for Mallrat's Uninvited EP, a remix of Vance Joy's Mess Is Mine with Droptail which racked up a quarter million plays, as well as scoring a bunch of support slots for KLP, GodWolf and UV boi فوق بنفسجي.

After officially remixing Troye Sivan's Happy Little Pill, which gathered over 5 million streams, there was no turning back for Casper Zazz. Fellow collaborator Jake Fehily brings his pop-style writing to life with his co-production adding flavour to the melodic sound that Casper Zazz fans grew up loving. Drawing influence from RÜFÜS / RÜFÜS DU SOL, Casper Zazz recall their experience in Berlin's club scene late last year, which helped to shape the direction of Flashing Lights.

You know those film clips where people are dancing in slow motion in clubs and everyone looks like they're having the best time? They're probably listening to this song.

You might recognise these guys from the propulsive beat they laid down for Mallrat's 'Uninvited' so it's great to hear a new original from 'em too. This one has a similarly infectious throb on it. I reckon it's just the start of big things for Casper Zazz.
