Artist:Cassandra Smiles

Cassandra is a Sydney based singer / songwriter whose songs reflect her love of all things country and bluegrass. She has been performing regularly over the past few years, playing at venues such as the Basement and the Sandringham in Sydney. In late 2006, Cassandra toured the US, playing venues across the east coast, including Pianos and a show at Mo Pitkin's House of Satisfaction as part of CMJ Music Marathon in NYC, and was a regular at 169 Bar in NYC's Lower East Side, playing each week with other folk, country and bluegrass bands. She is currently working on her debut album, which is due for release later this year.
