Geelong-based Cast Iron Piñata have been hailed as rising stars, and have done nothing but impress some of the country’s finest acts in their genre. This young band who initially met in high school has been going from strength to strength both musically and with their on-stage performance, catching the eye of audiences at home and abroad. 2012 proved to be a coming-of-age for Cast Iron Piñata, beginning with their second national tour and finishing up with a 40-show, 2 month tour of the UK and Europe. The time between tours saw the creation of ‘Cast Iron Piñata’, the long awaited self-titled debut album, set for release in 2013.
