It’s been said that where ever God erects a house of prayer, The Devil builds a chapel there and 2005 was the spawning to Chainsaw Hookers. Hundreds of shows right here in Perth have earned the Hookers’ a loyal following that has seeped further nationwide. Hardcore enthusiasts are seduced not only by the horror/music amalgamation but also by the bands ability to drink beers from footwear and other unmentionable orifices. 2010 saw the release of their debut EP ‘First Blood’. Soon to follow was the retina scorching music videos for ‘Ride the Venom’ and ‘Christine’. 2011 the Chainsaw Hookers were selected by Triple J Unearthed to play a coveted spot of the Soundwave Festival. On a holy roll they followed this up with the release of their self-titled album ‘Chainsaw Hookers’ which was mixed and mastered with Laurie McCallum of SUMO Studios.
