Bio

Recently returning from the flurry of LA, drummer come songstress Charity-Rose Turner hits the Australian music radar with the release of new singles "Into The Stream" & "Sacred Ground". Both tracks produced by Andy Mak (Boy & Bear, New Empire) and featured on the Australian hit TV show "Winners and Losers" Season 3. “Into The Stream” peaked at number one on the Triple J Unearthed pop charts and debuted at a smashing ten on the AMRAP AirIt national radio charts, joining bands such as the Presets and The Trouble With Templeton.

Mid 2013 saw her return to the studio with fellow Australian songstress Clare Bowditch, and producer Marty Brown, completing her sophomore EP ‘Sailing Alone’ released in February 2014. Her 2014 touring schedule included appearances at The Kimberley Moon Festival and Coast Out Festival, alongside Eskimo Joe, The Waifs and John Williamson. This past year has also seen her share the stage with the likes of Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Diesel, DIG, Bonjah and other Australian music heavyweights. Charity is winning fans over through her riveting, catchy and honest music that reflects life and the journey that it entails.

I like the steady strum that propels this tune and lead vocals from Turner lilt nicely.
