Charli Lucas is an up-and-coming artist with a habit for over-analysing her life and making rhymes out of it. Inspired by the likes of BENEE, SZA and Mallrat, Charli’s self-deprecating lyricism and mind-worming melodies tell the story of life in her early 20’s to the soundtrack of modern indie-pop. The Sydney artist started releasing music during lockdown last year and made some noise with her debut, self-produced single ‘Cigarette Breath’. Her new track 'Adored’, which recently got airplay on Triple J, is an up-beat chill track that exposes her tumultuous behaviour in relationships. "My producer REGI worked on this track while I sat in his bedroom with a notebook and poured my heart out over two sessions.
