Bio

AWKWARD is our latest single, streaming everywhere now. Last year, Jarred rediscovered "Awkward" - a 15-year-old acoustic demo. The potential was evident, and it quickly took shape once we solidified the emotional intent. After a blissfully melancholy saxophone break, and pensive verse, the final chorus explodes with cathartic release - freeing yourself from awful, awkward, unhealthy relationships.

We're fanboys of alt rock in the vein of Jimmy Eat World, The Used, Birds Of Tokyo, Silverchair, Alexisonfire, Teenage Wrist, sing-a-longs and delay drenched guitars.

We formed in the early 2000s when school band mates Vin, Dyl and Jarred met Rick. We wrote Got My Showing on the first night. These early jams laid the foundation for what we set out to do - create a sonic “comfort food”; a melting pot reminiscent of popular Aussie and American rock, grunge and emo.

The line up was consolidated in 2009. Now with three capable vocalists, and all four members highly motivated songwriters, creativity exploded! In The Morning became a benchmark for vocal interplay and harmony, guitar layers, and production.

We gigged steadily in pubs, punk clubs, rec centres, skate parks, foreshores, restaurants, and anywhere else that would have us. A packed-out show with Aussie Emo/Alt kingpins Behind Crimson Eyes was a highlight, along with love from local and national radio.

Life saw a long hiatus commence in 2009. Fast forward to 2020 - the sudden work-from-home situation due to COVID left us in a peculiar position. We reconnected, and recorded and released our debut EP! New (and old) tunes slated for release throughout 2021!

Rick - Drums, Vocals
Jarred - Guitar, Vocals
Mike - Bass, Vocals
Andy - Guitar

Heaving track that has that classic mix of melodic alt rock along the lines of inspirations like Gyroscope and Jimmy Eat World.
