Artist:the chats

Each Chats song is an accident we've been preparing our whole lives to make. All our published works are first takes with no trick photography; our creedo is that our songs are like checking the pulse of the band. We sometimes keep a song around if we like it or people request it, but most of our time is spent checking our pulse. If we didn't come up with some great stuff on the spot, then we probably would have gone back to writing songs beforehand and rehearsing them for months before playing them live. Turns out we're much better when we just start playing and singing without crib notes. As a result, you will always be able to hear musicians in a room playing music, and sometimes you'll be able to hear that they're making it up as they go along. So if you're tired of music that sounds like a machine made it, and if you feel like you're being lied to by those machines, then the Chats may just sound like music with a pulse, and it may just be the beat you need.
