Sydney has been renowned for some of the hottest new talent in the metal and hardcore scene and Chelsea Smile is no exception. Wanting to take their music in a more technical and solid direction Chelsea Smile rose out of the ashes of a former generic band. Having recorded their first track, “Walking On Thin Ice”, in October last year it has gone on to become one of their most popular songs. In just its first week it racked up 10,000 plays and by the time it hit the three month mark it had over 80,000 plays from people worldwide. Refusing to rest on their laurels Chelsea Smile directed their efforts at making a name for themselves in the first half of 2009 and their efforts quickly paid off with a strong local following gathering behind them. Having recently completed an Australian tour Chelsea Smile has made a name for themselves across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane. For such a young band they've accomplished a great dealt through their dedication and hard work.
