Bio

Chicks Who Love Guns are five boyish men from Sydney Australia.
Last year saw the band make a splash with the release of their single “Pencil Neck” being put to vinyl alongside a video which turned heads with a premiere on Vice’s NOISEY. On the back of the single release, CWLG packed and headed to the USA, playing a string of East and West coast shows to great acclaim.

Since returning to Australia they've been showcasing a fresh batch of material that marks an evolution of their energetic sound, reminiscent of their 90's childhoods yet still eclectic enough to make the question; “what genre of music does your band play?” confusing to answer.

CWLG have been lucky enough score slots at festivals like BIG DAY OUT and FAT AS BUTTER alongside touring with and supporting the likes of DZ Deathrays, DIE! DIE! DIE!, Deep Sea Arcade, Dune Rats, Hunting Grounds and Royston Vasie to name a few. There was also that one time they accidentally supported Kimbra in Melbourne before she was famous but that was weird.

Embarking on a slew of east coast shows in support of their 7" single "The Deep End" and coinciding music video, CWLG will see you soon.

Great song, trippy lead riff.
One of Sydney's most solid bands.

A driving post-punk track that I can already tell will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Sounds great!
