Chores. Fuzzy pop band from Melbourne. Debut single “Yeah Nah” out now, and the EP of the same name will be out soon. Still reading? Cool. Grab a bevvo and settle in. Story is: Tristan is from Adelaide, he used to be in the bands “Vice Pirate” and “Roach Coach”, and he started writing songs on an acoustic guitar whilst living on Vancouver Island, brewing beer. On moving back to Australia in early 2014, Tristan elected to put a band together to play these songs, and recruited former Brisbanite Nick Smethurst (Epithets, Little Scout, Bigstrongbrute, Mr Maps) on bass and recent Chicago ex-pat Paul Brannon (Mucca Pazza, -Ssion) on drumbos. The three began using regular "Band Practices" as a solid excuse to eat Brunswick St takeaway food and to occasionally write fuzzy songs in the realm of Sebadoh, Archers of Loaf and Seam.
