Chores are an award-winning dance-pop duo whose dance-floor fillers have established them as one of the most exciting electronic acts south of the equator. Often compared to Hayden James, Peking Duck, and Pnau, the New Zealand-born music-makers won ‘Breakthrough Artist’ at the 2017 Annual George FM awards, was nominated the following year for the International achievement award, and then took home ‘Best Electronic Act’ at the 2018 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards. Since their big VNZMA win, Chores, AKA Sam Saunders and Thommy Simmons, have been based in Melbourne, Australia, where they’ve been toiling away in the studio on new music.
