The Chris Commerford Band is a charismatic five-piece Blues-Rock/Soul outfit from Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. An established name throughout the region, the rousing blues-rock/Soul ensemble embodies the same passion and grit that’s so ingrained in Melbourne’s music scene. It’s this natural energy that’s kept the band busy throughout 2020 – with namesake singer-songwriter Chris Commerford putting his home studio to good use during lockdown in Frankston. Producer Jan Skubiszewski was even on hand to put the finishing touches to new music – an effortless collaboration that came together over email.
