With an emphasis on strong, melancholic melodies and artful musicianship, Chynoweth provide a unique brand of versatile alternative rock that packs a real punch, yet remains true to the craft of quality songwriting. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, the trio made their first collective offering in 2015 with the release of their single ‘Hope You Know’. The following year saw a follow-up single in ‘Slow’, itself foreshadow the release of the band’s first major offering, the decidedly acoustic and indulgent ’Songs of Misery and Romance’ EP. In 2017 the band marked their first overseas trip to Germany with the release of five live studio recordings, showcasing their heavy rock sensibilities.
