Cider Street's vocally driven music is hauntingly delicate yet rhythmically powerful. Cider Street has come out of a great love of music, performing, writing, and jamming out new ideas. Clare Scrine and Kieran Stevenson collaborate to create a sound reflective of their own separate backgrounds and influences. The end product is a mixture of indie, pop, folk and jazz. Cider Street has been in motion since early 2012, with Clare and Kieran having worked previously together in high school on various music projects. The duo brings new songs and musical ideas to each other and transforms them into a combination of their ideas, to then recreate on stage and in the studio. With the accessibility of home recording equipment, the duo are releasing singles one by one as steps towards the release of their debut EP in the latter half of 2013.
