The Cinema Wristys are a psych and punk infused warehouse rock band from Byron Bay Australia. Made up of two brothers, Gory Wright, a charismatic fun lover, balanced out with exploration and studies into spirituality and world politics (guitar, vocals), Christian Wright, a good hearted, breast loving, young gentleman, destined to become the favourite with the girls (bass, synth, guitar), and friend Jacques Gasson, a café loving, occasionally over the top shenanigator, who spends most of his time quietly plotting and scheming to take over the world (drums). The Wristys have an exciting album due for release at the end of 2018. A guitar driven, melodic mix of depth and fun, a reflection of the boys thoughts of the world and desires for interesting lives outside of societies norms. Recorded, co-written, mixed and produced by Jean-Paul Fung in the boys studio where they’ve been living together for the last year in Byron Bays Arts and Industrial estate.
