Citizen X is a rapper from Byron Bay, NSW. In 2015 he teamed up with up and coming producers Hamley and Quexxxt for his debut EP ‘Horizons’ and began playing shows and house parties in Byron Bay (Club Raiders, Byron Bay Brewery) and Brisbane (The Milk Factory). In 2016 he released a Mixtape EP ’HEARTS’ that was created in just 8 weeks, inspired by some particularly painful life experiences. Vincent & Jules (2016) described it as ’beautiful, deep, raw and jam packed with emotion’. Despite the obvious momentum he was building at home in Australia, he took the rest of the year off to go travelling overseas. Returning to Byron Bay in 2017, Citizen X realised a long-held dream of releasing a project in collaboration with his younger brother The R.A.C. The two named their duo Skyy Chase - in which Citizen X raps over beats made by The R.A.C. - and they released an 8 track EP titled ’F.A.I.T.H.’ (Forever Aiming Into The Heavens).
