      In 2019 Half A Cow released an EP called Find me rewinding by a band from Perth, Western Australia called The City Views. They are a three-piece indie-rock band who may appeal to fans of Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr and Swervedriver with a little bit of Smudge or Lemonheads thrown in the mix. In 2021 The City Views are back with a new 4 track EP titled: The future is the past. These new tracks see the band expand on their last EP - with quieter quiets and louder louds - while still bringing a swag of indie pop hooks to keep your feet tapping and a grin on your face. The title track was inspired (or rather uninspired) by the election of one Donald John Trump. Disillusioned by the news of the US election results. Guitarist/Songwriter Dave Wallace penned the tune on acoustic guitar on the day the news broke.
