Bio
Claws & Organs is a three-piece post punk band from Melbourne comprised of Miranda Holt on drums, Heather Thomas on bass and David Crowe on guitar. Heather and Dave also sing.
The band has gained a reputation for their fierce live performances and moody-yet-catchy tunes, earning them a spot on the VB Hard Yards Tour in 2018, playing alongside Alex Lahey, Waax, Raave Tapes and Tired Lion.
Clawgans have been hard at work on their debut album, so expect some new music soon!
Some people said nice things:
"Despite the playful title, ‘Alphabetti Spaghetti’ is more bone-rattling grunge from Claws & Organs, who evoke ’90s greatness with reams of stoner-friendly guitar fuzz plus simultaneously bitter- and bored-sounding vocals. Most important is how determinedly infectious it is, reclaiming alt-rock’s bubblegum catchiness." - Doug Wallen, FasterLouder
"The record has Claws & Organs spitting bloody bile and menace over jagged riffs and muscular rhythms. Even as someone who, besides a brief affair with Local H, regards grunge sweeping the charts as one of the most egregious missteps in pop history, I Am Scum And Nobody Should Love Me is a wicked continuation of cultural disillusion. Plus 'I am scum and nobody should love me" is way more tattoo-worthy than "I hate myself and wanna die.'" - Jake Cleland, The Vine

It's immediately midnight listening to this. But one that's long, dark, gloomy and unsettling. It's on the verge. Very cool stuff.
