Clint Wilson is an acoustic troubadour part of the new wave of Australiana artists who's influences draw from folk, Americana and alt country. Drawing from artist such as Paul Kelly, Crowded House, and The Church he brings local context and real world experiences to his music, giving a suburban authenticity that artists like The Go-Betweens, You Am I and Triffids pioneers in the 80s and 90s in Australia.
He releases new single Don't Stir Your Coffee If It's Cold, which is a bitter sweet mid tempo ballad looking at the breakdown of communication as a relationship breaks down. It's equal parts Josh Pyke and Pete Murray but with Clint's unique melodic nuance.
Previous single Hungover received critical praise.
"Clint Wilson's distinct and pleasing vocals are just right for a song such as 'Hungover'. Musically the track has richness with an expansive guitar lead sound and high quality production. Clearly Clint has a knack for writing and structuring songs." - Beehive Candy
“I love this track guys. It is a blend of Australian rock and pop with a sprinkling of folk on top”
