Bio

Australian producer/artist cln blends elements of future-beat, downtempo and RnB to create his own form of lush electronic music. Citing James Blake as a primary influence - his music also channels elements of Bon Iver, Snakehips and Odesza.

Callan Alexander, a 24 year old producer hailing from Brisbane, has had a very diverse career. Highlights include composing, engineering and producing for the Queensland Ballet alongside Aria-award winning vocalist Katie Noonan. He has also toured internationally - including a show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver.

Since the creation of the cln project, Callan's original works have been streamed over 20 million times including songs released on the NEST imprint of Skrillex's label OWSLA. He has supported numerous acts including Odesza and Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke.

cln has been exploring the journey from emotion to detachment through his recent tracks - all about the heartbroken windchill. I like how he's added a little glimmer and sparkle to the production on this new one.
