Mixing the summertime vibe of reggae with a splash of surf music, singer/songwriter Cohen Heart has created a uniquely infectious sound. Growing up on the NSW South Coast, a landscape rich in diversity from its thriving industrial developments to the natural beauty of its beaches, it has provided Heart with the perfect backdrop for his brand of sun-soaked pop. Now based in Sydney, the twenty-three year old has just launched his debut solo release, ‘Soul Keep Shinin’. Featuring three upbeat melodies including the mellow chill of ‘Summer Song’, the bouncing ska of ‘From Here to Eternity’ and the bass-driven rhythm of ‘Soul Keep Shinin’, the release marks Cohen’s transition from band frontman to independent solo artist.
