All the music showcased on TripleJUnearthed by Corey is of his own making; guitar, vocals, drums, keyboard, you might even catch some didgeridoo - it's all him (even the recording and mixing). It may be raw at times but the beat is always there, along with the distinct construction of every piece. A child of the 70s, Corey was introduced to a myriad of musical genres and performers from an early age. The music he heard at home on the stereo varied in style from Bob Dylan to Led Zeppelin while his mother played boogie woogie or Beethoven on the piano. The variety of sounds resonated until the rhythm beating inside pushed its way to the surface – he remembers his primary school teacher yelling at him constantly to, “stop that tapping Corey”, as he clicked out the tunes on his desk with his pencil.
